1. Acceptance
By creating an account on Buddy Dekho, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
2. Who can use Buddy Dekho
- →You must be at least 18 years old to use Buddy Dekho.
- →You must complete phone verification and live selfie verification to access full features.
- →You must be a real person — no bots, fake accounts, or accounts created on behalf of someone else.
3. Live selfie verification
Buddy Dekho requires a live selfie during signup to protect all users. By submitting your selfie, you:
- →Confirm that the selfie is of you, taken in real time, and not a photo of a photo or a digitally altered image.
- →Consent to Buddy Dekho's admin team reviewing your selfie against your profile photo for identity verification purposes only.
- →Understand that submitting a fake, impersonated, or digitally altered selfie is grounds for immediate and permanent account suspension.
- →Acknowledge that your selfie will be stored securely, reviewed privately, and never displayed publicly on the platform.
4. Your account
- →You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- →You may only have one Buddy Dekho account. Creating multiple accounts to evade suspension is prohibited.
- →Your profile information (name, photo, bio, interests) must be accurate and represent you honestly.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- →Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users in any way — on the platform or after meeting in person.
- →Use Buddy Dekho for any commercial purpose, solicitation, or advertising.
- →Share another user's personal information without their consent.
- →Post plans or send messages that are obscene, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise illegal.
- →Attempt to access or reverse-engineer any part of the platform not intended for your use.
- →Create a false sense of urgency or use manipulative tactics to pressure another user into meeting.
6. Plans and meetups
- →Buddy Dekho facilitates connections between users. We are not responsible for what happens during or after an in-person meetup.
- →Always meet in public places, especially for your first plan with someone new.
- →If you feel unsafe at any point, leave and report the user immediately using the in-app report feature.
- →No-showing a confirmed plan repeatedly may result in account suspension.
7. Content you post
Photos, plan notes, chat messages, and reviews you post on Buddy Dekho remain yours. By posting them, you grant Buddy Dekho a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the service. We will never use your content in advertising without your explicit consent.
8. Suspension and termination
Buddy Dekho reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms, at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice. Reasons include but are not limited to: fake verification, harassment, commercial misuse, or repeated no-shows. You may appeal a suspension by contacting support@daymate.app.
9. Limitation of liability
Buddy Dekho is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that plans will be fulfilled, or that interactions will be positive. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Buddy Dekho is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from use of the platform or in-person meetups arranged through it.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Buddy Dekho after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
